The Sharon Temple was built in 1825 by The Children of Peace, and restored in the 1920's. This unique Canadian Historic Site hosts music festivals throughout the summer and is open for tours Thursday to Sunday. The annual Illumination takes place on the first Friday each September, in keeping with the traditions of the Children of Peace. A jewel of Canadian architecture and music, the Temple is one of the best kept secrets North of Toronto.
